Sonic 3D Blast Sega Saturn 1996 Although this game is basicly the same as the Genesis version, the Saturn version is better in many ways. The levels have more textures, the bridges in Green Dr. Robotnik start's turning Sonic's friends on the Flicky island into Robot's. Unfortunatly, the island is protected by magic rings, and sonic must use the power of the flicky birds to travel from one place to another by using the ring. In this game you must collect 5 flickys, and use them on the rings to get to the next area. Although this game is basicly the same as the Genesis version, the Saturn version is better in many ways. The levels have more textures, the bridges in Green Grove sway to Sonic's weight, Rusty Ruin zone has Fog and Rain, the game has CD audio, and more changes from the Genesis version. The only disadvantage is longer load times. Beating the Bosses: Green Grove Zone Robotnik is carrying a spiked ball around. He will drop it and it will bounce after you. Wait until It stops bouncing after you, and Robotnik will go down to pick it up. Jump on him when he is picking it up. Rusty Ruin Zone Robotnik is in his hand thing. He will shoot balls at you. Try to get on one of the hands when he pounds it on the ground. When he lifts it up, jump into his face. If you are on the hand on the left, jump directly to the right to hit him. If you're on the right hand, jump forward (Up). Spring Stadium Zone Robotnik is in another hand squasher! Use the Springs to get him on the higher level of spikes. KEEP JUMPING RAPIDLY OR YOU WILL GET POKED BY THE SPIKES UNDER YOU. Now, after he's done pounding, he will come up. Jump toward him. Do this 7 times and you will beat him! Diamond Dust Zone This one is pretty easy. You have to hit him when he is down spraying the cold air. Don't let him freeze you, and be careful of the exploding snowmen. Volcano Valley Zone This one is tough! Robotnik will shoot fire that will follow you. After it dies out stand on one of the four pipes and hit him. Be sure to get him before he shoots out more fire! Gene Gadget Zone Try to keep up with the conveyor belt and don't hit the spikes. When Robotnik drops down, avoid hit bullets and hit him. Panic Puppet Zone and The Final Fight Sorry, there are a bunch of bosses here, and if you made it this far, you can do the rest on your own. Cheats: Cheat Mode: On the title screen, while the words "Press Start" are flashing, Hold down C and press Start. Now any time during the game, you may pause the game, and press any of the following: A-Skip ahead one stage B-Skip ahead three stages C-Skip to Panic Puppet Zone Act 3 X-Add an Extra Life Y-Add a Sonic Emblem Z-Have All Chaos Emeralds
